How to Set Company KPIs Without Creating Noise
A KPI is useful only when it changes a decision, triggers an action, or improves accountability.

LXN Global Holding is the Lexén family's platform for direct acquisitions, long-term holdings, selected investments, and strategic transactions.
We acquire and develop companies where our capital, systems, and operating experience can materially improve the business. When direct ownership is not the right solution, we may instead lead a structured company sale under a defined sell-side M&A mandate.
The group's principal office is in Switzerland. Its legal entities, investments, and business interests operate across multiple jurisdictions in Europe and North America.
We work across four parts of the ownership and transaction cycle: acquiring the right companies, owning them with discipline, improving how they operate, and completing a strategic transaction when that is the better outcome.
We acquire companies with established demand, sound economics, and clear room for stronger execution.
We retain good businesses for as long as continued ownership remains the right use of capital.
We improve systems, reporting, accountability, decision-making, management structure, and market execution.
We manage strategic sales of our own holdings and accept selected sell-side M&A mandates for outside owners when a structured sale is the right solution.
LXN Global Holding owns and steers. Each company runs its own business.
We stay close when a business needs stronger systems or leadership, and step back once it can perform on its own.
We acquire control when direct ownership is central to the investment case and we are prepared to take responsibility for the company's next stage.
We own and develop selected companies for as long as continued ownership remains the strongest outcome for the business and the group.
We take minority positions selectively where our capital, network, governance, or operating experience can materially support management.
We manage exits from our own portfolio and accept selected sell-side M&A mandates when direct ownership is not the right fit or the owner requires a defined sale process.
Not every company is best served by joining our portfolio. Some owners need a clear succession or sale process, and some companies need to reach the right strategic or financial buyer within a defined period.
In those situations, LXN Global Holding may accept a limited number of sell-side M&A mandates. We prepare the company, define the transaction position, identify and approach qualified buyers, manage due diligence and negotiations, and coordinate the process through closing.
We do not sell isolated advisory hours. We take responsibility for the process from preparation through execution, with interests aligned around a successful transaction.
We organize the financial, commercial, legal, and operating information required for a credible process. We identify readiness issues, clarify the company's position, and prepare the transaction materials.
We define the buyer universe, approach qualified strategic and financial buyers, manage confidentiality, coordinate meetings, and maintain competitive tension throughout the process.
We manage offers, due diligence, negotiations, adviser coordination, and the work required to move the transaction from initial interest through signing and closing.
Each mandate is selective and defined by a written scope. The objective is a controlled process, credible buyer engagement, and the best available outcome for the owner and the company.
We are active owners, not passive financiers. LXN Global Holding holds interests in more than 30 companies across 10 countries.
Our work is practical. We build systems, document core processes, define responsibility, improve management reporting, and establish a clear operating rhythm. We also support leadership changes, market expansion, financing, acquisitions, and other major transitions when required.
The level of involvement depends on the company. We may work through the board, alongside management, or take temporary operating responsibility. We do not force every company into the same ownership period or operating plan.
When direct ownership is not the right solution, we may instead lead a structured sale process under a defined M&A mandate.

Simon Lars Fredrik Lexén — commonly known as Simon Lexén — is the founder and principal of LXN Global Holding, a privately held, family-led investment and holding group with its principal office in Switzerland and business interests across multiple jurisdictions.
Simon began his career in 2018 through real estate sales, business development, and early-stage projects within the Werkelin group. In 2020, he co-founded Health Group and helped build the commercial and operating structure required to expand across several international markets. The company completed an exit in 2021.
Since then, Simon has founded, acquired, invested in, and operated businesses across technology, international trade, luxury goods, and professional services. The common thread in his work is operational structure. He studies how a company functions from end to end and builds the systems required to run it more effectively. This includes defining responsibilities, documenting core processes, improving management reporting, establishing decision routines, and creating clear accountability across the organization.
Simon is most directly involved when a company has strong underlying potential but lacks the structure, coordination, or operating discipline required to execute consistently. Through LXN Global Holding, he leads acquisitions, capital allocation, ownership strategy, governance, and company development. Some businesses are held and developed over the long term. Others are prepared for a strategic transaction when that offers the better outcome.
Simon and his wife, Sofiia Lexén, operate from Switzerland and are building LXN Global Holding as their family's long-term ownership platform. Sofiia is involved in selected family ventures and the Lexén Foundation, through which they support charitable initiatives in markets and communities where the family is active.
Their objective is to build durable companies, manage capital responsibly, and create an ownership structure capable of serving the family and its activities over the long term.
LinkedInWe welcome direct introductions from owners considering a sale or succession, founders seeking a long-term ownership partner, and advisers representing established companies in Europe and North America.
